The Continuous Improvement Process Model For Educational Programs and General Education:

Annual Cycle: August 1 – July 30

At ÂÜÀòÊÓƵ, our Continuous Improvement Model serves as a structured, cyclical approach to institutional effectiveness, driving meaningful progress through data-informed decision-making. This model ensures that all units—academic and administrative—are aligned with the University's FOCUS 2030 Strategic Plan and are continually evaluating and enhancing their contributions to student success and operational excellence. The process is designed to be both practical and reflective, encouraging ongoing assessment and action in a logical, step-by-step framework.

Each year, units engage in a nine-step process that begins with articulating a clear mission and ends with incorporating improvements into the next cycle. Units first state their mission (Step 1) and then identify and map measurable outcomes (Step 2). They next indicate assessment measures (Step 3) and specify performance targets (Step 4). Data is then collected (Step 5) and analyzed (Step 6) to determine whether outcomes were met. Based on findings, units determine areas for improvement and plan corrective actions (Step 7), share results with stakeholders (Step 8), and finally incorporate changes into their upcoming annual plan (Step 9). This model fosters a culture of accountability, transparency, and forward-thinking engagement across campus.
