Fall 2025 Commencement

 

Greetings:

The 312th Commencement Convocation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, in the Dunn-Oliver Acadome. 

Candidates for graduation should enter the Acadome from South University Drive (the entrance located just across from the Shuttlesworth Dining Hall). We will follow the same procedures as previously stated to sign individuals in and hand out name cards (Picture ID required). Volunteers and Student Marshals will be on hand to direct candidates after they have checked in.

There will be two session:

Rehearsal

Rehearsal will be held at 5 p.m. in the Acadome on Thursday, December 4, 2025.

President’s Reception

The President’s Reception will immediately follow rehearsal in the Acadome Concourse.

Diplomas

Printed Diploma â€“ Your traditional paper diploma will be mailed to your address on file within a few weeks. Be sure your mailing info is up to date! 

This dual delivery makes it easy to celebrate and showcase your achievement in every way that matters

Regalia 

For those who did not preorder and have their regalia shipped to their home, this is your opportunity to get regalia for the Fall 2025 Commencement. Regalia will be available from the ASU Bookstore on the following dates and times:

 

• Tuesday, December 2 - Thursday, December 4, 2025 (10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
• Friday, December 5, 2025 (7 a.m.  - 1 p.m.)

To pick up regalia, you must have submitted a graduation application for Fall 2025, paid the application fee, have been cleared to graduate, and have a valid picture ID.

Tickets

Tickets will not be necessary for the Commencement Ceremony.

Honors Hoods

Candidates for baccalaureate degrees who maintain high scholarship through four years at the University are graduated with academic distinction. Graduation with academic distinction is based on the quality point average of 3.00 or higher out of a possible 4.00. ÂÜÀòÊÓƵ honors students who graduate within this grade point range with the following designations:

Summa Cum Laude                3.75-4.00

Magna Cum Laude                 3.50-3.74

Cum Laude                             3.00-3.49

Honors hoods will be available from the ASU Bookstore at the following times: 

• Tuesday, December 2 - Thursday, December 4, 2025 (10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
• Friday, December 5, 2025 (7 a.m. -1 p.m.)

To pick up honors hoods, you must have submitted a graduation application for Fall 2025, have a valid picture ID, and be an honors student.
